Iberogast should be taken three times a day before or with meals.
Adults/Children over 12 years: 20 drops
Children (6-12 years): 15 drops
Children (3-6 years): 10 drops
Children (3 months- 3 years): 8 drops
Safety
There are no known side effects of Iberogast and this is based on 40 years of post-surveillance data in Europe. Over 20 million patients have been treated with Iberogast since market launch and it was shown to be effective for common use with no safety concerns.
Drug Interactions and Allergies
There are no known drug interactions with Iberogast based on 40 years of post surveillance data. Iberogast can also be taken before or with meals; therefore, food does not affect the efficacy of the product.
Iberogast should NOT be used by individuals who have an allergy to any specific component of the product. Iberogast is comprised of the following 9 ingredients: Iberis amara, Angelica, Chamomile, Caraway fruit, St. Mary’s Thistle, Balm leaves, Peppermint leaves, Celandine, and Liquorice root.
Iberogast should NOT be taken by patients with an illness related to alcohol. It must be noted that there is more alcohol in a glass of apple juice than in 4 times the adult dose of Iberogast.
